Calendar Art Contest

ATTENTION ADULTS: YOU Are The KEY to Preventing Child Abuse & Neglect.   That is the theme for Child Abuse/Neglect Prevention Month each April in Ohio.  In a contest sponsored by The Ohio Children's Trust Fund and Family and Children First Councils fifth grade students are asked to use their creativity to depict the things people can do in their every day lives to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Each county Council selects a winner and submits that piece of artwork to compete in a statewide contest.  Twelve pieces are then selected and are featured in the statewide Family Well-Being Calendar.   We are pleased to say that the Montgomery County winner has been selected to appear in the statewide calendar in each of the three years we have participated.
